Child Safety Policy

TPIS prioritizes the safety and protection of its children. To safeguard and protect students in school against any physical, social and psychological distress, we have incorporated robust technology tools and safeguarding practices to create a safe and secure environment for our students.

The following steps have been taken to ensure a practical approach.

  • We have 110 CCTV (Digital) cameras installed on the school campus, ensuring children’s safety in school.
  • Buses are equipped with GPS, seat belts, fire extinguishers, Speed Governors, and first aid boxes for the safety of children to and  from the school.
  • CBV (criminal background verification) checks have been done for all teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • All classroom door locks are disabled from the inside.
  • Clear and see-through glass on each classroom windows for visibility.
  • All staff and support staff are required to follow company disciplinary policies.
  • We have also implemented child protection and complaint redress policies.
  • No Mobile phones are accessed during school hours by students.
  • All the classrooms in the school have smoke detectors and fire alarms.
  • A mock fire alarm drill is conducted at school every quarter.
  • Internet and Wifi are firewalled (no access to social media and personal emails etc.)
  • Rooms not in use are always locked.
  • We also have a full-time psychological counsellor in school.

Child Abuse- Awareness and Prevention:

The Prodigies International School ensures protection for its children against any physical and psychological abuse. At the same time, we are responsible and share a vision to educate and aware our children of the same. We also undertake preventative measures in the school and follow a zero-tolerance policy to child abuse and exploitation. With a vision of safeguarding our children in every setting and circumstance, TPIS follows and extends full support to guidelines given in the “National Child Protection Policy” by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
